After years in pediatric medicine, I realized that the traditional, insurance-driven system just wasn't built for how families actually live. Rushed appointments, endless waiting rooms, and trying to explain a complex symptom while a timer silently ticks in the background? Nobody wins there, least of all your child.
That's why I founded Crafted Care Pediatrics. I wanted to build a direct primary care practice where we actually have the time to talk, listen, and figure things out together. Healthcare shouldn't feel like an assembly line; it should feel like a partnership. I view my role as your co-pilot in your child's health: you bring the expert-level knowledge of your child, and I bring the medical toolbox, evidence-based guidance, and a pocket full of stickers.

A little about me beyond the stethoscope
When I'm not in the clinic, you'll usually find me exploring local trails, visiting state parks, or hunting down the best pastries and craft coffee in town (if it's a 20-ounce Americano, I'm in).
I'm an avid crocheter, so "Crafted Care" isn't just a name. I genuinely love building things thoughtfully from scratch, whether that's a yarn project or a tailored health plan for your child.
In my downtime, I'm a big fan of tabletop games and D&D. It turns out that problem-solving in a campaign and navigating pediatric health aren't so different: both require creativity, teamwork, and a fair amount of flexibility!
I am a lifelong reader who loves nothing more than curling up with a novel and a cup of coffee on a rainy day. It is a joy to encourage my own children and my patients to read as often as they can.
My husband Chris and I are parents to three wonderful, wildly energetic kids (ages 10, 8, and 3). Navigating parenting across the elementary, early childhood, and toddler years keeps me thoroughly humble, highly adaptable, and very familiar with the everyday chaos of family life!
